3 phases

Ready to be fully restored?

Every man that walks into our program will have the tools and support to walk through the 3 Phases in order to gain healing and restoration

phase 1

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF SIN AND GENUINE REPENTANCE.

transformational change

Transformational change often occurs when extreme circumstances drive it. With addiction this is referred to as “hitting rock bottom.” It is at this bottom that individuals will likely begin to see the real issues and be open to solutions. Phase one of Fully Restored focuses on identifying the problem “sin,” bringing an individual to a place that they can admit this, and then turning to God for the solution. Men will also begin the Biblical 12 step process during this phase.
Phase one will focus primarily on an acknowledgement of sin and genuine repentance.
Mark 7:21-22 for from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness…
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Romans 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
The participant will spend most of their time in this phase in the Word of God and with staff.
phase 2

Renewing of the mind and putting on the character of the new man

the new man

Addiction and getting to a rock bottom are typically a long process. Along the way many harmful and selfish habits are established. Breaking these habits and replacing them with healthy, God honoring and productive habits takes time. During phase two of Fully Restored, men will do the hard work of learning to be honest, responsible and others centered individuals. They will continue progressing through the 12-step process as they distance themselves from a destructive life of addiction.
Phase two will focus on the renewing of the mind and putting on the character of the new man.
In this phase the participant will develop spiritual and practical disciplines for living a Godly life. This Godly life will be practically worked out as men serve the church, their community and one another.
Ephesians 4:22–24 put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
phase 3

Reintroduction to society with purpose by means of practical preparation

good works

Re-entering society free from addiction, often for the first time in many years, can be both an exciting and daunting experience. Preparing for this transition through careful planning, training, and equipping is essential to providing participants of the Fully Restored program with the best opportunity for success. Exiting the program with a clear sense of purpose and direction is a critical yet frequently overlooked component in fostering individual confidence.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
practical preparation
During this final phase the participant commits to the direction for their life after the program and begins training and preparation.
Practical preparation reduces anxiety about the unknown future and increases one’s ability to succeed. Training and equipping provide the necessary elements to experience the dignity of work and re-enter society as productive members.

conclusion

As the individual progresses through these phases their personal privacy, level of responsibility and opportunities to heal and be equipped will all grow. Ultimately the goal is for full restoration of a person’s spirit, soul and body; in order to reintroduce them to the world as a healthy and productive member of society.
step 12
“Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps we try to carry this message to alcoholics/addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.”
